The next step for me towards energy efficiency is to start looking into solar energy or maybe switching where I receive my energy from to somewhere I know is producing clean energy.

Tyler Weber 10/31/2024 10:06 AMMy eco challenge as a whole went really well. I saved a lot of money by taking the bus to school everyday. I did not have to pay for gas or parking passes. I also saved money on eating less meat, my wife and I had many more vegetables because of this. And I also saved some money on my power bill by switching my lights to LED lights. Overall I learned a lot from his experience and I will continue to ride the bus and eat this way for the foreseeable future. -
Tyler Weber 10/29/2024 10:18 AMMy drawdown challenge is going really well. I have been able to meet my public transit goals everyday by taking the bus to and from school. I also have been able to eat at least 1 vegetarian meal a day ranging from rice and eggs to salads and it has been very enjoyable. I have also changed all of the lightbulbs that are in use in my house to LED lightbulbs. -

Tyler Weber 10/24/2024 9:56 AMPeople in richer countries wat more meat then people form other places because meat is so expensive. From raising it to storing it to processing it, the price keeps increasing. In America meat has become a common thing where in other places in the world it is a rarity. And the process of raising meat, growing the feed for said meat, and storing the meat before it is processed all impact our climate in a negative way. From methane production to tree removal, the whole process of meat negatively impacts our climate. -

Tyler Weber 10/22/2024 2:20 PMThroughout my life I always had access to cars so i never rode the bus or took public transit, but know that I do not have as much money to spend on gas the bus has been a great alternative. Know that I take the bus to all of my classes I am saving a lot of money on gas and on parking passes which has allowed me to save more and spend more on necessities. -
Tyler Weber 10/10/2024 10:31 AMEverything has been going smoothly for the challenge, my wife and I have switched to riding the wave from east campus to main campus and back. We have also started eating more vegetarian meals at least one a day, our main dish we go to is rice and eggs with some vegetables.
