REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
Jayson Wasserfuhr 11/11/2024 9:19 AMPeople in richer countries eat more meat, because it is more affordable for them. They can consume meat in a higher sequence and eat meat in a higher average. Other people maybe don´t have access to a bright supply than in richer countries. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings Explore Other Buildings SolutionsWhat did you find out? What is the most interesting fact you learned?
Jayson Wasserfuhr 11/11/2024 9:11 AMSome windows really need to be replaced. The don´t prevent enough anymore to be a sustainable shield. They cause a loss of energy and electricity. Some of them are in a good condition but there are a few in the dotzour hall that must be replaced. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Support Local Food SystemsDependable fresh food, supporting local farmers and building resilient communities are just a few benefits of local food systems. Which of these (or other) advantages inspire you the most?
Jayson Wasserfuhr 11/11/2024 9:04 AMAnother advantage would a better percentage of nutrients in the food. Local farmers must not drive big distances to bring it to the supermarket. So it would reduce carbon emissions. Last but not least it wold bond the community and the community would help itself and be an example for other communities. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCoastal, Ocean, and Engineered Sinks Smart Seafood ChoicesMany states and countries have advisories on eating fish. Find out what is advised for your region. Do you think your diet choices fall within these guidelines? What steps do you need to take to make sure that they do?
Jayson Wasserfuhr 11/11/2024 8:45 AMIn my region they look after the fishing industry. In my region the government gave different instructions over the laws that says that there are seasons where the fishing industries can fish their fish. My diet choices fall in the guidelines because with the government i have to change my diet and the fish i eat every new season. I have to adapt to the new laws and policies of the laws and the reactions of the industries. I have to make sure, that i am up to date and inform myself over maybe new policies. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Practice the 5 RsWhat are some more "Rs" you could add to your daily practice to reduce your waste?
Jayson Wasserfuhr 11/11/2024 8:31 AMReduce: I could reduce the amount of plastic that I use. I should by more renewable plastic possibilities. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Spread the Word about Energy AlternativesWhat inspiration and wisdom can you gather from your family, faith, or community traditions that would help you in both communicating about and addressing our most pressing energy issues?
Jayson Wasserfuhr 11/11/2024 8:28 AMEspecially my family does a lot to save and use electricity in a sustainable and effective way. We have solar panels on our roof which saves a lot of the suns energy and gives us electricity in a sustainable way. So I got inspiration from my family in first place. And second, I live in a community where everyone really looks after their environmental impact and so my community tries to save electricity over panels as well and is investing into renewable sources of producing electricity (Wind). -

Jayson Wasserfuhr 11/11/2024 8:16 AMThe survey was interesting and gave me the opportunity to reflect and think about what I can do in the future to impact the environment in a positive way. I liked the questions in that survey because they gave me the chance to show my view on the whole environmental topic.
