REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustryWhat are some more "Rs" you could add to your daily practice to reduce your waste?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportationList some of the places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?
Edith Stein 5/30/2024 7:20 PMSome places I frequent are the grocery store, the pool, and my house. I can carpool to any of these places.
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportationReducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?
Edith Stein 5/30/2024 7:19 PMI am motivated to switch to a more fuel efficient vehicle because I know how bad fossil fuels are for the environment and I feel guilty driving a car that burns fossil fuels.
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and EducationWhat did you learn about the need for family planning? How do the needs of different people in different places compare to each other?
Edith Stein 5/30/2024 7:18 PMI learned about how family planning is more accessible or less accessible depending on where you live. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and EducationWhat are some of the barriers that exist to women's equal participation and/or representation in your community?
Edith Stein 5/30/2024 7:17 PMSome barriers that exist in my community are access to sports teams and sports facilities. I know multiple girls who have to play on boy’s teams because they don’t have the opportunity to play on a girl’s team.

REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustryHow close is the nearest climate-friendly supermarket to your home? How could you encourage local supermarket to reduce or phase out their use of HFC refrigerants?
Edith Stein 5/30/2024 7:17 PMThe nearest climate-friendly supermarket to me is the French Broad Co-op. I can encourage local supermarkets to reduce refrigerants by writing an email to the owner of a locally owned market and asking them about it.
