REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportationHow has your access to various kinds of transportation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?
Josh Gadson 10/24/2024 9:12 AMMy access to various kinds of transportation throughout my life has influenced my current attitudes about transportation and my transportation behavior. Growing up in a city with extensive public transportation, I developed a strong preference for using public transit and walking for most of my daily activities. This has shaped my belief in the importance of sustainable and eco-friendly modes of transportation.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseWhile dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?
Josh Gadson 10/24/2024 8:08 AMI have been consistently consuming less food daily and making efforts to minimize food wastage. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustryHow could you incorporate other "Rs" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "Rs" make you feel?
Josh Gadson 10/24/2024 8:06 AMIncorporating the "Rs" - reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. - into my lifestyle can have a positive impact on the environment. I can reduce my consumption of single-use plastics, reuse items instead of buying new ones, refuse products with excessive packaging, repair items instead of throwing them away, and repurpose old items for new uses. Considering implementing these "Rs" makes me feel more mindful and responsible about my consumption habits, and it's empowering to know that I can make a difference through small everyday choices. -
Josh Gadson 10/24/2024 8:05 AMI've been working on improving my recycling habits by properly sorting and cleaning all recyclable materials before placing them in the recycling bin. I've also been trying to reduce my overall waste by opting for reusable items instead of single-use plastics. It feels great to be more mindful of my environmental impact!
